In the role of (Senior) Finance Manager (internal title: Consultant), you will take on or manage projects for our clients. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:Project Management: Independently executing projects and implementing new tools and processes
Finance Operations & Reporting: Overseeing operational finance processes, such as reporting, analysis, budgeting, and the management of monthly and annual financial statements
Liquidity Management & Financial Planning: Development and optimization of liquidity forecasts, business cases, and other financial models
Process Optimization & Digitalization: Identification and implementation of efficient processes, automation, and finance tools
Stakeholder Management: Collaboration with tax advisors, auditors, tax authorities, investors, banks, and other relevant parties
- Project-based collaboration with clients: primarily remote, but also on-site as needed
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE:Several years of experience in the finance sector, ideally at a startup, an SME, or in the consulting industry
Excellent Excel and Google Sheets skills, as well as experience with PowerPoint or similar software for creating visual presentations
Experience working with accounting systems (e.g., DATEV, NetSuite) and knowledge of common financial tools for optimizing processes (e.g., credit cards, invoicing)
Basic understanding of all finance processes (e.g., accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, payroll)
Experience with standard analyses and reports (e.g., SuSa, BWA, cash flow, forecasts, budget)
Strong communication skills in German (at least C1) and English (at least B2)
An independent, structured approach to work with an eye for opportunities for improvement
Interest in project-based work and a desire to support clients remotely or on a project-by-project basis, and to a limited extent, on-site as well
